South African Holiday

Hey all, since you know that i went to South Africa for 3.5 weeks, i wanted to share some photos of my home country, and of course a few pics of astra's /Kadett's I have another one of a 200TS, but still have to upload it.

While i was there, i started asking around for sideskirts and rear bumpers of the astra 5 door. Unfortunately to my surprise, even though i saw millions of them driving around, i went to a few scrapyards and they had nothing in stock. In South Africa, they strip all the cars instead of leaving it on for you to search it for yourself. So it was quite disappointing.
These scrapyards did however advise that i can get imitation parts, but knowing you and myself, we want ORIGINAL PARTS!

I have asked some garages which i have connections with to search for them and hopefully something will pop up. Other than that, it's directly buying from the dealer or paying the high price from someone on the opel forum in South Africa.

This quest is still not over, and hopefully i can revert with better outcomes in the future.

Inside a warehouse, you just ask at the counter and they tell you if they have it or not.
No matter what i asked for an Astra/Kadett, they didn't have it.
What I hated is that when i said Astra or Kadett F, they didn't understand me. :S I had to explain it by year, model, etc. Seems the F does not ring a bell there, although it is mentioned in the directory's as an Astra F. haha.

Unfortunately, I only saw the new astra stations there, no GSI astras stations.
